We’re less than 24 hours away from the final mile and we mark it with a final news conference at Wilson Elementary School, which had a 100 percent participation rate in this year’s Kids Marathon.
KIDS: Come Saturday (Jan. 14) to participate in the Final Mile of the McAllen Kids Marathon at the McAllen Convention Center!
This FREE one-mile run/walk is for kids ages K-8th grades.
Sign ins start at 7 a.m.
T-shirts available for children who pre-registered online.
All will get a finisher’s medal for completing this 18-week training program.
One parent per child will be allowed on the supervised course. (No preschoolers, pets or strollers allowed.)
The run course will be around the McAllen Convention Center. Park in the center, located at 700 Convention Blvd. near the corner of Ware Road and Expressway-83.

T-shirts from Texas A&M Healthy South Texas and UTRGV are available only for children who pre-registered prior to the Nov. 8, 2016, deadline.
